Fab Academy Launching

The Fab Lab Network is announcing the launching of the Fab Academy educational program, starting on September 2009.
OPEN FOR APPLICATION
The Fab Academy provides instruction and supervises investigation of mechanisms, applications, and implications of digital fabrication. It is a distributed campus, offering advanced technical education to people who can’t access this kind of education due to price, age, qualifications, quality, or location. How to make almost anything Bcn presentations

Fab Academy será el primer campus educativo distribuido de manera global. Fab Academy Launching

IaaC hosted the launching meeting of the Fab Academy program together with the MIT CBA and different Fab Labs of the world. Fab Academy is a distributed educational program based on the digital and personal fabrication.
The Fab Academy will provide instruction and supervise investigation of mechanisms, applications, and implications of digital fabrication. Field “fab labs” are providing early access to these capabilities, through prototype tools for personal fabrication.
