Ethics, Diversity & Inclusion in Mobility Education

With Isabel Cunha

Who gets to shape the future of mobility – and who gets left out?

Recorded live at the JustMOBI Faculty Workshop in Warsaw, this episode features Isabel Cunha,  Assistant Professor and Head of the MSc in Mobility Management at ENTPE, University of Lyon, EU Ambassador for Diversity in Transport, and member of the JustMobi Ethics, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee.

With a decade of research and practice across France, Portugal, Brazil, Germany, and the UK, Isabel has led EU-funded projects on cycling, walking, transport equity, and the 15-minute city. Her work sits at the intersection of inclusive education, participatory research, and urban design, always with one goal: making mobility fairer and more human-centred.

In this conversation, she brings that lens to the question of what truly inclusive mobility education looks like, and why getting it right in the classroom matters for cities everywhere.
