Workshop preparations to build bioplastic panels to be used in an artistic installation. Facilitated by the biomaterials experts Naifactory Lab, in this workshop we will discover in a practical way how to transform organic matter into biomaterials and the possibilities they bring to make useful and beautiful things without generating impact. The participants will explore, through an interactive activity inspired by the Design Thinking methodology, possible uses and applicability for these valuable materials.
The bioplastic panels developed during the workshop will be used for a collaborative artistic installation for the exhibition “Poblenou fabrica / fàbrica” that will take place in May 2023 as part of the Centrinno project.
The exhibition will show how the productive character of Poblenou has been transformed over the last decades, and the existing potential of the neighborhood to foster a more circular, inclusive and diverse economy. It will portray the evolution of Poblenou’s tangible and intangible productive heritage while presenting a set of round tables and workshops, photographic records, personal stories and objects connected to different scales of the territory.
