CitiObs invites you to a Citizen Science Dialogue bringing together Fab Labs, makerspaces and Citizen Observatories to explore how these communities can work together around shared environmental challenges.
The session aims to inspire new connections and create opportunities for collaboration around environmental monitoring, digital fabrication, open-source approaches and prototyping.

Meet the speakers
Matías Verderau is the Director of Lichen, a social innovation lab based in Barcelona, where they explore the intersection of community engagement, science, technology, creativity and education to collectively shape the future.
Jerry de Vos (TU Delft / OSHNED) builds open-source hardware for a better society. What started at Precious Plastic grew into organizing a national open hardware movement that brings research into the commons. Through hands-on examples, he connects citizens and researchers to tackle shared challenges together.
Óscar is a multidisciplinary researcher in the development and implementation of open source technologies and low-cost sensors, including their application in citizen science initiatives, as tools for environmental and health assessment, and the interoperability of data across research infrastructures.
