Educational Programs Lead

Luciana Asinari is Educational Programs Lead at Fab Lab Barcelona, where she manages the formal Educational offer (Master in Design for Emergent Futures, the Fab Academy, Textile Tech Incubator, and Fabricademy). She has also been, since 2014, the Global Coordination of the Fab Academy Diploma worldwide. Luciana’s primary interest is the impact of digital fabrication tools in education and the implementation of distributed educational models within the Fab Lab Network. Where students, mentors, and faculty are connected globally for content sharing while working locally to prototype their ideas to impact their immediate communities.Luciana has a degree in Social Sciences and Fine Arts.
